CU Freebie--important reading

I took a bit of time today to make a few borders, and you can use them for CU if you want.  I would appreciate credit, but it is not required.  Have fun!  Click the preview to DL.
Now for some news from a couple of gals who actually are giving all the time, and they are such great ladies, and they sell their kits for$2 or less.  They are CRAFTY SCRAPS SHOP / CRAFTY SCRAPS FORUM  AND DELICIOUS SCRAPS. At the store, all of Michelle's scrap kits are under $2.  She too wants to make it easier for us all to scrap our memories. Then over at DELICIOUS SCRAPS  Anna also has all her kits under $1.  Both of these sweet ladies are very generous and offer tons of freebies, and they both have CU items.  Thanks to both of you wonderful ladies!!!  You are aaaaaaAWESOME!!!
If you stop in at the Crafty Scraps Forum, there are quite a few challenges that if you make and post a LO, you will get a hugs mega kit!!!  FOR FREE!!! just a little bit of time.  I can do that..... Here is today's freebie.  Enjoy

  1. Thank you for your freebie Jana! So cute! And I totally know what you mean. It is hard to find full kit freebies or affordable stores. Thank you for the list of affordable stores. I know about CS of course! But I am gonna go check out Delicious Scraps. Thanks!

  3. Thankyou so much for this beautiful and generous freebie Jana. CU freebies are even rarer than PU ones so I really really appreciate it. I have quite a few kits on my blog and every one of them is free. If you'd like to have a peek, the address is - www.lunarosa.net - thanks again, Kelcey:)

  8. Hi Jana! I actually give all my kits for free. I don't sell anywhere. I believe in paying it forward. I don't want to sell them. I want to be free to create and I want to be free to give them away with no strings attached. I give away an average of 2 free kits a week - all you have to do is visit my blog or subscribe to my newsletter (if you do this you can download the freebie straight from the inbox - no need to even visit my blog!). Here is the link to my blog - all my freebie kits are still available for download and I have no intention of taking them down:

  9. Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I am definitely going to stop by and check these out in the next few days. The scrapping world is amazing, and so big, that it is hard to find all of you, so thanks for leaving your blogs addresses. I will also add you to my daily read so others can find you. Again as soon as I can. Life you know. Hugs

  10. I agree, it's getting harder to find freebie kits, so thankyou to you and all the CraftyScraps CT's who work so hard to give us kits and inspiration to work with.
It seems your comments have brought forward some other kind hearted souls - so thanks to them as well.
I don't buy many kits, but when I do they have always been from those who have given freebies!

  11. Thanks so much for the CU freebie!
Everything on my blog(http://cafekittydesigns.blogspot.com/) is free(CU items and templates and PU kits). Times are tough and I want to make it easier for those who can't afford to buy things :)

  12. I completely agree with you. I've been collecting craps for last couple years and do have quite a collection by now, but did notice that finding good, usable freebies is hard.
What I do is merge bits and pieces from different blogs into kits. It's all for my personal use only so I don't worry about giving credits. I also find graphics and photos that I can clean up and make into emebelishments. I would be happy to share my collection with anyone that is interested. I'm also starting to learn how to design freebies and start my own blog. Would appreciate any help from the readers in that direction. How do I get started???

That being said. Thank you so much to all of the ladies that take the time to design and post their work for free for others to use.
    Good bless you!

  13. I love Dream Big Designs (http://dreambigdigi.blogspot.com) all her kits are on sale for $2 the first week they are out which is awesome because they are gorgeous and usually huge (at least 50 elements and 12+ papers). I have been designing for over a year and I've spent $150 on CU items to give my kits more distinction from one to the next and I haven't made it into the black yet. I gave away a kit when I first started- there were over 350 downloads. I'm sorry, but I need to make my investment back before I feel too comfortable with giving out what I paid for. But 8x10 and 8x11 quick pages is a good suggestion, thank you!
