New Challenges and Freebies--BB Cluster

January 9th already. Man where did 2011 go. It has been a crazy year and only 9 days in.......Between visits to the Dr, and PT, I haven't had a moment to myself it seems. I am really disliking PT. In July, we went to Yellowstone Park. We drove to West Yellowstone Montana and spent 2 nights there. One of the days we were there, we took a tour through Yellowstone. That is the only way to go. It was an interesting and fun trip, and the guide was awesome. Definitely the only way to go.

Yes I am still sick--I just can't seem to get over the nasty stuff I have. It seems like forever since I felt normal. Anyway I do have another great kit to show you today. It is my kit titled Beachie--Yup just what it sounds like--Summery with shells, sand toys etc. Yes my mind is still back at summer--not heading into winter. Yes it has snowed here. Not at my house--thank goodness--but in my mountains. It is nasty! I really hate the cold and so not looking forward to what is coming. I have decided to only have one blog for now, so this is where I will do my updates. Today is not a good day, I got a stupid flu shot last week, so now I am sick. They say it doesn't give you the flu, but I definitely don't believe them, so I will just read my kindle today. LOL

Run in with the hedge trimmer

Remember a week ago I told you I cut my finger helping DH trim the bushes/flowers---well hers is the pictures from it. On Saturday DH took off the first bandage and that is what it looked like. Then last night he took it off again--to change it and that is what the second one is of. What a difference a day makes :) It still hurts like you know what, but at least I can see progress. But I am still not able to do much computer work, so it will still be a few before I can get another kit up for you. On the 1st though the LDS Blogtrain takes off and since I already had that one all done up, I will post it for you---so until Thursday-------Also make sure you stop over at Crafty Scraps forum because I am starting a new challenge on the 1st and the PP will be some CU things--and you know my TOU is really easy so that even makes it that much more desirable--!!!! Can't wait to see you there.

Here it is another week. Boy this month has been busy busy busy, and it's not over yet. LOL DH has his eye surgery this week. I am so excited for him. I love mine, and it has only been a week and a half. Hope all goes well with his. This week I am giving away the kit called Spring Surprise. It is a spring/easter kit, and I know it is not that time of year, but I am sure you all have left over pics. I know I do. LOL Here ya go. I can't find my LO's so you will just have to DL to see what it looks like. LOL

Today I was helping DH outside. We got a new toy--a hedge trimmer and I was helping him cut some of the flowers/bushes. I got my finger instead--Can you say ouch!!! It took forever to stop bleeding. Now when I go to bed DH will look at it and see what he needs to do. He didn't think it needed stitches, so that is good, but if I bump it good it still bleeds. I can't move it though cause its all taped up. I dread tonight when he takes the bandage off.........I think it will be a sleeping pill night. :) Luckily for all of you next weeks kit has already been posted. Hope it heals before the next one is due, cause my computer time is very limited.....one handed is not fun. LOL I definitely HURTS!!

Soo sorry for not making it here last week. Life happens sometimes. I was sick, most of it, and I had to do some canning on top of being sick, because our garden was ready.....Even though I wasn't ready for them to be ready I have been canning beans every other day all last week, and will still continue this week. My dear friend and I won't mention names for privacy, lost her baby last week. It was sad news for sure. Wow where did June go. When this post is actually posted, it will be July 4th. This is the day America won it's independence. What a great day to stop our busy lives and say thanks to all those brave men and women who fought and gave their lives--or are still fighting for us to have this awesome country to live in. I have some pictures that I wanted to scrap of a cruise we took a few years ago. I didn't have anything that matched, so I got to work and made a new kit. I do that sometimes. After a really long day helping DH work on dry-walling the stairs,--no we didn't finish-- I sat down and played with another lesson I have been learning. I really had fun with this one and now I know how to make folded papers. So you get to benefit from my "playing" The colored sample is not included. I did try to make a plain one, but I couldn't make it look right--I guess I am just too tired--so I will give you the two textured ones. So if you can use them go ahead and take them. Ok so here is what you all came for----I have been playing in PS5 and learning quite a few things from the class I am taking ((Never mind that I have been working with PS for almost 3 years now LOL)) and learned how to make straight lines with even spaces with brushes...soo much easier than guessing if you are equal distances from the next one. Anyway in my playing I came up with this little mask for you all. It is CU--just read my TOU--Simple :-) which basically there aren't any restriction. LOL

I have been a part of a blog train, but for some reason--I wasn't told why-- I was just deleted from the DB account where we all put our parts. So since I am not able to participate with the group when the train leaves, I am giving my part away here--and because of this, you get it early!!! This is quite a large kit, as it has 12 papers and 39 elements. I hope you enjoy it. Learning New Things

I have been working with Photoshop for a little over 2 1/2 years. I started with elements 5 then went to 7--I got a free copy when I bought my bamboo, so I installed it, didn't care for it though so I went back to 5-- My son was going to school for graphics design, and he had CS3, so I learned that one. I really enjoyed that one even though I haven't learned a 10th of it. Then I was stupid and upgraded to CS5. Not sure I am thrilled with that one though. Sometimes I wish I would just go back to CS3. Luckily DH got a great deal on it so it was fairly cheap. Anyway this class has been awesome!!! If any of you are interested in learning you really need to check it out. I found a yahoo group where they do PS training, I am only on lesson 5beginner and I have learned so much. It is a great course. Here is the link if anyone is interested. Learn PS for All I found the link over on Ivy Scraps forum. I am not a member of the Ivy Scraps team, but I wanted to give them credit for posting this. I encourage you to try it out. Since I will be learning all kinds of stuff, you will get to benefit from it. Today s lesson I learned a really neat trick and I am excited to get busy playing---so stay tuned!!! cause you will all benefit for sure. LOL

Michelle has brought another older kit back and revamped it some. I really loved the colors on this one too. On my LO I had to darken the background paper just a bit because I wanted the pop effect, but other than that the kit worked great for my LO. Just as the last one, head on over to her forum, because you are able to get this kit for FREE, and I made my LO into a QP too, so you have more goodies. Hope you like them.

Michelle has an awesome kit our in her Stores right now called Brandy. This kit has lots of bright colors that fit many different kinds of LO's. Another must for your "Stash".
